In many respects, Prince Rupert, British Columbia is an excellent location.
The property we are looking for could be in either the private or the public sector.
Locating in Prince Rupert could make Atmostrack and the ComVac all-Canadian businesses.
Prince Rupert is one of the world's deepest all-weather ports with rail and road connections to all of North America. The excellence of its strategic location is illustrated by the fact that in terms of transit time, it is the shortest shipping distance between Asia Pacific and Chicago.
Prince Rupert could be perhaps the best place in the world to showcase the Atmostrack and ComVac technologies. Because Prince Rupert is a stopping point for cruise ships going to and from Alaska, it attracts tens of thousands of visitors every year.
Cruise ship passengers would love to go to the top of Mount Hays and experience a super-green technology as part of their holidays. They would certainly take the message back with them to their home countries and home towns. It is a marketing manager's dream!
If we located Atmostrack and the ComVac in Prince Rupert we would definitely make the factory a "must" to visit.
Mount Hays is a 625M/2050ft high mountain towering over Prince Rupert.
It may well be the reason for the rainfall that makes Prince Rupert the most rained on city in Canada.
Using the ComVac, this consistent rainfall could power a comprehensive Atmostrack system throughout the area.
There used to be a tourist building atop Mount Hays and a cable car running down to the City.
These are sadly no longer functioning. However, we think Atmostrack could replace the cable car and service a new building on Mount Hays. The views from Mount Hays are stunning and a restaurant there could showcase locally caught fish such as halibut, salmon, ling and cod.
Canadians are fun-loving and hard working people. British Columbia is a high-energy province capable of pulling together to make things happen. The Vancouver/Whistler Olympics of 2010 is a prime example.
Various and numerous government grants are available to support and encourage innovation and investment.
Prince Rupert would be super.
