Atmostrack structureThe preferred layout for an Atmostrack installation is above ground on elevated tracks. (Atmostrack can, of course, be deployed in a variety of configurations such as overhead track with vehicles suspended)The above ground configuration allows the use of the parallel mains (accumulators) to be part of the structure. With a span of approximately 30 metres, a very small footprint is required. Small foundations spaced every 30metres have low civil engineering requirements. Structural ComponentsAtmostrack uses mainly a set of standard components and these are made mostly from inexpensive steel tube and plate.Atmostrack Pre-EngineeringAtmostrack components can therefore be pre-engineered on a production line and transported to the installation site.

Atmostrack Rapid DeploymentWith low civil engineering requirements and production line manufacture of the majority of components, Atmostrack can be rapidly deployed. Using 3D geodata, even the civil engineering can be rapid.Atmostrack Rapid un-DeploymentThis is a strong benefit of Atmostrack. In contrast to existing transportation technologies that need extensive and permanent civil engineering (rock cuts, excavations etc.) an Atmostrack installation can be rapidly removed leaving virtually no scars on the landscape.Rapid un-deployment will be of interest where transportation is needed only temporarily. Large sporting events such as Olympic games are an example. Another example is mining where there is a limited time for exploiting a resource.
