The People's Transport

Atmostrack Software

Atmostrack does not require drivers or signalling.

Atmostrack vehicles will be self-routing and hierarchically organized according to priorities determined by the end users.  For example, a simple hierarchy would route passenger vehicles ahead of freight vehicles.  Other hierarchies built into the routing software would depend upon local conditions and requirements.

Atmostrack safety is established first at the physical operating level in that the Atmostrack system does not physically permit two vehicles to be in the same section at the same time.

As a back-up safety device, the routing software will not permit locating more than one vehicle in the same section of track at the same time.

Coupled with Atmostrack's triple layer braking system the possibility of collision is excluded.

The Atmostrack Software advantage

Because Atmostrack software is defaulted to on-demand and self-routing mode, the waste associated with mandated schedules is precluded.  With conventional technologies such as diesel powered buses, buses are generally required to keep driving even when there is no demand.  It is not unusual for evening buses to run for hours with few, if any, passengers.  The cost associated with this is not significantly less.  Drivers, back-up drivers and emergency brake down maintenance crews are still paid and fuel costs are virtually unchanged.

With Atmostrack, a vehicle simply parks when empty unless there is a demand for it elsewhere.  Atmostrack software is self-learning so that where demand increases, the system responds by moving vehicles to the area of demand in anticipation.

With Atmostrack, waiting for a bus or train is eliminated.  Think of all the time that is currently wasted by passengers standing at bus stops while the bus they want is sitting in a traffic jam elsewhere.  Waiting time translates to real social cost.  Atmostrack can eliminate the stress associated with waiting and give back the wasted time.
